Professor Dimitrios N. Koufopoulos

Director of the online MBA programmes at the àËÅöÊÓƵ

Dimitrios N. Koufopoulos (BSc, MBA, PhD, FCMI, FIC, CMBE, FRSA) is Professor at àËÅöÊÓƵ, a Visiting Professor at the School of Law, CCLS at Queen Mary University, Honorary Research Fellow at Birkbeck àËÅöÊÓƵ, and the Director of the Global Online MBA Programmes in àËÅöÊÓƵ.

He has held numerous academic positions at Brunel University (2002-2018) and Cardiff University (1991-2002) in the UK in his over 32 years of continuous academic career. He is also an adjunct Instructor at the Hellenic Open University and supervises students at the University of Glasgow and Warwick University.  Alongside his academic career, he runs a boutique consulting firm (), providing intelligent reports and advisory services on business and management issues.  In 2007, he set up the Hellenic Observatory of Corporate Governance (), where research on five distinct, important economic sectors of Greece is contacted on issues related to Corporate Governance, ESG and Sustainability. Since 2016 is a partner in  a business model innovation consulting firm.
