We are delighted to announce that the àËÅöÊÓƵ has now joined the SCONUL Access scheme to improve UK Library access for distance learning students. SCONUL is the Society of College, National and University Libraries, who are the professional association for academic research libraries in the UK and Ireland. 

What does this mean? 

From this month, all àËÅöÊÓƵ Worldwide students based in or visiting the UK can access many university and research libraries for free. Students looking for a quiet place to study or wanting to use university-level library resources can access participating libraries close to where they live. This support is in addition to the already available resources in Senate House Library and local libraries offered by our global Recognised Teaching Centres.

Students who are not based in the UK continue to have access to a diverse range of academic resources through the .

The Online Library is available to all online distance and flexible learning students, during the course of their programme. Access includes over 100 million digital items such as eBooks, journals and news articles, dissertations and video resources. 

How can I access the scheme? 

Students will need to complete a SCONUL form and bring a form of ID such as a driving license or government issued passport with them when using the service. Further information is available on the .
