City, King’s College àËÅöÊÓƵ and the àËÅöÊÓƵ are delighted to be launching our Toolkit for Inclusive Employability Development through Curriculum, funded by a QAA Collaborative Enhancement Project grant, at a special in-person event at Senate House, àËÅöÊÓƵ on 15 April 2024.

We are really keen to welcome all educators to this hands-on launch event, including academic educators, careers educators, and anyone else supporting the learning of students in higher education. We will be introducing delegates to the principles behind the Toolkit and giving you a guided tour to its content, and the event will principally focus on workshops for you to explore how you might use the Toolkit in your professional practice.  The Toolkit will be launched in early March, and in the meantime you can listen to a QAA podcast about it with project co-leads Aranee Manoharan (King’s College àËÅöÊÓƵ) and Gemma Kenyon (City, àËÅöÊÓƵ)

The Schedule for the day is , and lunch and refreshments will be included. Cost to attend £10.

The event will run as follows:

  • 10:00 - 10:30 – Delegates arrive, tea and coffee
  • 10:30 - 10:45 – Welcome and Project Introduction
  • 10:45 - 12:15 – Prepare: how to get started on your journey to develop employability inclusively through curriculum
  • 12:15 - 13:15 – Lunch and networking (included in the event price)
  • 13:15 - 14:00 – Landing Inclusive Employability Education Inclusively: workshops on how to introduce inclusive employability education in your context
  • 14:10 - 14:55 – Deliver: Workshops showcasing tools from the Deliver section of the Toolkit
  • 14:55 - 15:15 – Break
  • 15:15 – 16:00 – Evaluate: measuring impact 
  • 16:00 - 16:30 – Looking forward
  • 16:30 – Close
